This coffee table has a 5 mm thick black painted glass top. The paint is applied to the underside of the glass, making the top surface smooth and scratch-resistant (to normal use). The glass top measures 110 cm long, 55 cm wide, and the table height is 46 cm. The frame is constructed from engineered wood (E1 grade MDF) finished with a black veneer. Below the top, there are two fixed tempered glass shelves, each 4 mm thick, positioned at heights of 15 cm and 25 cm from the floor. Each shelf measures 100 cm long and 45 cm wide. The shelves are supported by metal brackets attached to the frame. Maximum load capacity: top glass 15 kg, each lower shelf 8 kg. The shelves are not adjustable. Assembly is required: the main frame is shipped flat; you will need to attach the side panels, fix the shelf brackets, and then insert the glass shelves. The black painted glass should be cleaned with a non-ammonia glass cleaner; ammonia can damage the paint edge over time if seepage occurs. Wipe spills immediately. The lower shelves are clear tempered glass (not painted). The table comes with rubber feet for the legs. Do not use this table outdoors or in high-humidity environments (e.g., unventilated sunroom), as the MDF may swell. The product includes an anti-tip kit (wall anchor strap) for safety in homes with children. The maximum total weight on the top shelf should not exceed the 15 kg limit – placing a heavy object like a large stone sculpture may exceed the limit. The glass edges are ground smooth but are not beveled.
